Doug F. Morris

Doug F. Morris, 87, passed away at home with his family by his side. Doug was a Sales Manager for American Bakeries and SunBeam. Doug proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wed. Feb. 14, 2018 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner.  Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park with Military Honors. Doug was preceded in death by a son, Danny Morris ; sisters, Teresa Sherer and Joyce Thorne and a brother Ted Morris. Survivors include his wife of 34 years; Geraldine Busbee Morris; his daughters, Gail Newman and Ann Price and stepdaughter Tammy Baker; stepson, Trey Baker and wife Corinne; sister, Faye Kenner and husband Roger; brother, Luther Morris; sister-in-law, Gloria Morris; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
