Dorothy Sullivan

Garner-Dorothy Sullivan, 77, of Garner passed gently and quietly surrounded by her family April 18th. She battled a terminal illness since 2007. She was greatly admired and loved by all her friends and family. Dorothy was a devout Christian and very active in her church of 50 years. She was the daughter of the late Ezra and Blanch Bell Sullivan. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Garner Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Clayton. She is survived by her only son; Steve Pilkington of Garner, granddaughters; Kristen and Ashley Pilkington both of Garner, brothers; Elwood, Phil and Earl, sisters; Eva Gray, Marie, Pat and Lou Ellen; step-mother, Hattie Lee Sullivan Family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the Church.
