Doris Rooks Crawford

GARNER Doris Rooks Crawford, 91, passed away Saturday July 20, 2019. A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Rivenbark Rooks. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday July 31, 2019 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Crawford and daughter, Carolyn C. Hawkins; sister, Christine Dickens; brothers, Sherwood and Lawrence Rooks. She is survived by her daughter; Ann C. Smith; sister, Bonnie O’Neal; brothers, Gene Rooks and wife, Donnie, Tommy Rooks and wife, Christine; grandsons, Jeffery and Phillip Smith, as well as 5 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
