Dail Bennett Wall

RALEIGH – Dail Bennett Wall, 90, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Sunday. Born in Pamlico County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lovella Bennett of Grantsboro, NC. Dail was a longtime member of Edenton Street United Methodist Church. She retired from NCDMV. She loved birds, NASCAR and was an avid fan of Duke basketball. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Padgett (Steve) and Brenda Malone (Brian); granddaughter, Kim Jones (Brian), Heather Johnson (Jason) and Michelle Padgett, as well as four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Wall; four brothers and one sister.
