Chris Ragland

Fuquay-Varina- John “Chris” Christopher Ragland, 52, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 5, 2020. He was born in Wake County to Bobby Ragland and Becky Barnhill. He attended Fuquay-Varina High School. After graduating, he served in the Army and the North Carolina National Guard. Chris was an experienced carpenter for more that 30 years. He was passionate about hunting and fishing. He loved his children and enjoyed mentoring them and giving them advice. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 3 PM to 6 PM at 210 Long St. Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. Chris is survived by his children, Isaac Ragland, Brinkley Ragland and fiancé, Andrew, Celeste Ragland, Parrish Lawrence and husband, Malachi, Carissa Dickens and husband, Daniel; grandchildren, Dalton Gardner, Vayda Rae Gardner, Siler Gardner and Preston Dickens. He is also survived by his mother, Becky Barnhill; father, Bobby Ragland and wife, Boots; sister, Kasey Cady, brother, Troy Ragland and wife, Heather; nephew, Drew Cady; niece, McKenzie Brobson and a special aunt, Deborah McFadyen. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jay and Ethel Barnhill, Hayes and Maggie Lee Ragland.
