GARNER – Catherine “Cathy” M. Edwards, 78, passed away Wednesday. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Garner Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. The family will receive friends and relatives at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas McLaren and Fanny McLaren Sealey; step-dad, Loomis Sealey; brother, Thomas C. McLaren, Jr.; and step-brother, “L.M.” Sealey. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Billy Edwards; daughter, Sheila Camp and husband, Thomas of Colleyville, TX; son, Billy Edwards, Jr. of Garner; and sister, Agnes Patterson and husband, Maynard of Winterpark, FL.
