Carol Ann Thompson

November 9, 1955 - March 18, 2012 Raleigh - Carol Ann Thompson, 56, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 18, 2012. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Carol was born to the late Paul Henry and Alma Olischar Dedes on November 9, 1955. She had a huge heart for animals and always had pets by her side. Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Garner First Presbyterian Church, 503 Lakeside Dr. Garner, NC 27529. Carol is survived by her husband Paul A. Thompson; two loving dogs, Angel and Maggie; aunt, Ruth Lang and her husband, Harold; cousin, Gary and his wife Karen Lang; nephews, Robert and Thomas Dedes; niece, Emma Rose Thomas; mother in law, Irene Thompson; brother in law, Frank and his wife Diane Thompson; and sister in law, Bunny Dedes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emil and Gertrude Olischar, and her brother, Naval Commander Robert Dedes.
