Bonnie Simpkins

RALEIGH – Bonnie Simpkins, 52, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Bonnie was born in Wake County to Glenn Haywood and Jean Matthews Simpkins. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 25th from 6pm to 8pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, February 26th at 2pm in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner, followed by an interment at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. Bonnie was a hairstylist, as well as, a bail bondsman. She enjoyed going to the beach, mountains and enjoyed antique shopping. She loved the Wake County Speedway (especially late model races). Bonnie was well-loved and she was well-known for helping people. Bonnie is survived by her mother, Jean Simpkins; husband, Bryant Carter; daughters, Sarah Simpkins and Hannah Lawrence; and one grandson, Cylus Eisel; first cousins (like brothers/sisters), Curtis Simpkins and wife Leslie; their daughter Lacy; Deborah Simpkins McDonald and husband Graham; and their children, Shanna and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alice and Oscar Simpkins; father, Glenn Simpkins; aunt and uncle, Betty and Talmadge Simpkins; and first cousin (like sister), Cathy Simpkins.
