Billy Dean Furlough

Billy Dean Furlough passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021. A native of Creswell, NC, Billy was born September 27, 1935, to the late Loomis Edward and Virginia Haire Furlough. He owned Glamor Heat of North Carolina for more than 25 years. Billy was a member of First Baptist Church of Garner for more than 50 years and a longtime member of the Lions Club in Garner. He loved his family very much, especially his grand and great grandchildren, but his wife Ellen was the light of his life. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at First Baptist Church, 601 St. Mary’s St., Garner, NC 27529. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Billy will lie in state at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, from 4-7pm. The family may be available for a portion of that time, or you may stop by their home to offer condolences and support. Billy is survived by his loving wife, Ellen M. Furlough; children, Cindy Furlough, Craig Furlough and wife, Kathleen, and Charles Furlough and wife, Sandy; grandchildren, Daniel and wife, Sarah, Caleb and wife, Faith, Grayson and wife, Rachel, Jacob, Candice and husband, Aaron, Justin and girlfriend, Heather, Karly, Kaitlyn, Ryan, and Shaun and wife, Alesha; great grandchildren, Graylynn, Gabriel, Isla, and Raegan; and a brother, John M. Furlough and wife, Margaret. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 601 St. Mary’s St., Garner, NC 27529 or to Transitions Lifecare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
