Betty Lois Flanagan

Raleigh- Betty Phelps Flanagan, age 77, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at her home.

Betty was born on November 19, 1946, to Helen and Jarvis Phelps of Scotland Neck, NC.

She graduated from Scotland Neck High School and attended Chowan College.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Bourne of Raleigh; her son, Scott Flanagan of Raleigh; her brother, Doug Phelps (Susan) of Cary; nieces, Wendy Phelps and Amy Combs (Robert); two great-nieces.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
