Betty Jean Smith

WILLOW SPRING–Betty Jean Smith, 70, passed away on Tuesday. Born in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Eugene F. Warner and Alice Williams Warner. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 20th at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. She is survived by her husband, Billy Lee Smith, Sr.; daughter, Christine Russell (Joseph) of Willow Spring; son, Billy Smith, Jr. (Cindy) of Duncan; grandchildren, Brittany Tapia (David) of Willow Spring, Kayla Hines (David) of Benson, Savannah Russell of Willow Spring, Jaelyn Russell of Willow Spring; great-grandchildren, Landen Tapia, Lydia Tapia, Paisley Hines, and Olivia Hines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Hunter and Faye Jordan; and brother, Eugene Warner.
