Betty Agnes Price

GARNER – It is with great sadness that the Price family announce the passing of their wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Betty Agnes Price on February 4, 2015. Agnes was born on August 15, 1927, to the late Junuis S. and Betty A. Temple of Four Oaks. She was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Raleigh. She loved her church and her family and it was evident in everything she did. Agnes loved to travel and work outside but she was best known for the wonderful meals she prepared. She leaves her cherished memories to her beloved husband of 65 years, Shelton L. “Leroy” Price; daughter, Janet Price Hales (Jim); son, Max S. Price (Jane); niece, Rebecca “Becky” Ann Stephenson; grandchildren, Wendy H. Raynor (David), James “Jimmy” Hales, Jr., Matthew S. Price, and Lane A. Price; great-grandchildren, Alyssa N. Raynor, Christopher “Austin” Raynor, Piper A. Hales and Ansley G. Raynor. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 pm Friday, February 6, 2015, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The funeral will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Fellowship Baptist Church, 5029 Old Stage Road, Raleigh, NC. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Donations in memory of Agnes may be made to Transitions LifeCare (Hospice) for their tremendous care, support and love over the last two years.
