A. Hardy Mills

RALEIGH - A. Hardy Mills, age 68, died peacefully at home on March 17, 2021. Hardy was born January 11,1953. A Raleigh native, he graduated from Broughton High School in 1971. He attended N.C. State university and then became a premier builder and developer in the Wake County area for 40 plus years. Hardy was preceded in death by his parents W. Hardy Mills and Frances Taylor Mills and a brother Blakeley Quinn Mills. He is survived by his wife Patricia, daughters Allison Woodlief (Steve), Amy Lynn Mills and 7 grandchildren. They, as well as great nieces, nephew and great nephews were the loves and delight of his life. His most rewarding role was being known as the best “Papa.” He lit up the room when his family’s children were present.
