WILLOW SPRING – Robert John Perniciaro was born on August 2, 1994 in Raleigh, NC to Tom and Liz Perniciaro. He was the fifth of six children. He grew up in Willow Spring, NC and spent his adult life there as well.
Robert was always a curious and artistic person. When he was a child, he loved all things nature and science. He was always finding bugs and snakes to take home. As he grew up, his interests turned more towards art, and he was incredibly talented. His art was complex and controversial – much like Robert himself. Robert was also an incredibly skilled craftsman. No matter what his medium (wood, clay, etc.), you could always count on his creations to impress.
Robert could bring a smile to the face of anyone who knew him. He was funny and kind, something his seven nieces and nephews loved. Even though he was troubled and his life wasn’t always easy, he could always be counted on for a laugh and a conversation.
Robert is survived by his parents: Tom and Liz Perniciaro, and his siblings: Cassondra and Adam Clements, Thomas Perniciaro and Melanie Pearsall, Bhriel Perniciaro, Joy Perniciaro and Doug Henry, and Julia Perniciaro. He is also survived by his seven nieces and nephews: Lucan, Sofia, Max, Aubreigh, Saben, Aria, and Ronin Clements. He is also survived by his second family: David, Julie, Erin, and Jamen Toy.
