I worked for a lot of nice men at the Wildlife Commission and your Dad was one of the best .So many years ago, but I still remember opening my desk drawer & some of my little white donuts would be gone. Your mother and you boys were his world. It was a good working experience for me. You have been blessed with great parents. Prayers to all during this time you arer hurting.

  2. Rick Estes

Luther was a true mentor, even a philosopher, in the best sense. He was a gentleman who many of us still admire.

  3. Mary-Anna DeSoto

We really enjoyed Luther – he was Avery’s birthday buddy! (Even they they were born 79 years apart). He was always interested in what the kids were doing and especially loved listening to Mike play guitar. He once stayed after dinner to listen until it was past dark (he had meant to leave before then). Luther always had something interesting to say…so knowledgable about so many things! We will greatly miss him – esp hugging him on Sunday!

  4. Jonathan

Dear family of Luther Graham Partin Jr. I am sorry for your loss in revelation 21:4 it says that god will wipe out tears from their eyes And death will be no more

  5. Cheryl Swearingen

We called him Partin, and he was our neighbor for nearly 30 years. He was a dear friend and such a gentleman. In the past year we had some nice phone conversations and when I look across the street and know he is gone ,it leaves me with an emptiness that I will feel for sometime. Somewhere Evelyn is smiling because she has love again.
