Mrs. Faye was a very dedicated and loyal Smith Magnet PTA Board member and Vice President. She loved that school with all of heart. Her children and grandchildren attended there so being a part of the PTA meant a LOT to her. She will truly be missed by me and the rest of the PTA board and school staff. She will always have a special place in my heart. My prayers and condolences go out to her family.

Faye was such a sweet lady, caring about her friends at Raleigh Garden Club. She was Chair of Ways and Means last year and worked so hard to do a good job. It was always a pleasure to work with her and to visit with her. We will miss her so very much!

  6. Pam Phillips

I’m so sorry for your loss. We loved Aunt Faye so deeply our hearts are broken so many good times we’ve had at her house or at Mamas. All the Christmas celebrations & cookouts. As I’ve said before the two bestest friends are together again celebrating and catching up. Aunt Faye was an awesome woman, mother and grandmother!! She will be dearly missed by so many. Love and prayers for all.

  7. Claudia Ketchie-Chadbourne

Although living on opposite coasts, we stayed close through the years sharing what was going on in our lives and even managed some traveling a few years ago. Faye was a wonderful friend thought of as a sister. She always remembered special occasions and holidays with cards and sweet messages that will be lovingly missed. Her kindness to my family extended to caring for their grave sites at Montlawn and seeing they had beautiful seasonal flowers. I will always love her for that and who and what she was In life. Her daughter, Angie’s, selfless care during her mama’s illness is a wonderful testament to Faye’s giving legacy. Peace and comfort to all her family.
