Peggy and Family, we have been praying for James since we heard about him in the hospital. I will surely miss seeing him @ Hilltop. You both are special to me. To Anita I have felt that pain of losing a father, but we can cherish those memories forever. He will be missed and that smile and handshake always meant a lot to me. We will continue to lift you up in prayer for the days ahead. We Love you.

James was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for many years. He and his sweet wife Peggy were so faithful and very much loved. He & Peggy always sat on the back pew each Sunday and were very active in their Sunday School class. Please accept our sympathy and love to the family at this time.

I met James recently while walking with his wife, Peggy, and Denise (another neighbor in our neighborhood). What a beautiful personality; he would refer to me as “New Orleans”. I am really going to miss him. To Peggy and the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. BE ENCOURAGED!!!

Mr. James was a very likable and interesting man. I always enjoyed our talks when we were together.
I wish I would have spent more time with him as he was a lot of fun to talk and joke with.
So sorry for the families loss and prayers for peace and comfort go out to them all.
Going to miss you uncle James, Rest In Peace with your family and friends in heaven.

James was a happy spirit and joy to know. Always smiling and making others feel good. As his neighbor, I only was blessed to know him a couple of years but I will miss him greatly and never forget him. I’ll keep his sweet spirit and laugh alive in my mind……love you Peggy
