CARY – James (Jim) Grant Rasor, of Cary, passed away on Jan. 9, 2021 at Transitions Hospice Home in Raleigh. He had been in declining health for several years. Jim cherished his membership at Christ Church and the Back Bench, a group of guys who graduated from Broughton in 1959.

What a kind, funny, wonderful man Jim was. I was privileged to have known and worked with him years ago, and cherish the memories. Rest in peace.

One of my oldest friends. I’ll miss seeing & talking with Jim at Back Bench meetings as well as those occasional lunches at the PR. Jim was always friendly , always positive. Always encouraging & ready to help. God bless Jim & Mollie. You’ll be remembered in prayer.
