Frances Carole Fuller Nicholson

4/6/1940 ~ 9/7/2019

Carole Nicholson passed away peacefully September 7, 2019, at Transitions Life Care.

Carole was the loving daughter of “Bee” and David Fuller. She is survived by her devoted husband, Darrell “Nick” Nicholson, daughter, Anne Hogewood (Lee), son, David Nicholson, and three grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah and Benjamin, of whom she was supremely proud. She is also survived by her sister, Dora Tedder, and brother Dan Fuller and much extended Fuller and Nicholson family.

Carole graduated from Wake Forest University and earned her Masters in Music from Millikin University. Carole was a brilliant student, accomplished pianist, organist and music instructor. Carole volunteered her time and talents at numerous community agencies and at Christ Church in Raleigh. She was also uber proficient with the IPAD, GIFs and emojis in text messages to friends and family.

Carole deeply loved and cared for her family, friends and piano students. Her family especially thanks the members of her St. Madeline’s guild who lovingly cared for, fed and visited during her illness.

A celebration of Carole’s life will be held at Christ Episcopal Church at 1pm on Tuesday, September 10. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to Transitions Life Care, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607 or the Christ Church Outreach Fund, Christ Episcopal Church, 120 E. 1. Wendy D. Fuller

I am so very proud and thankful Carole was a part of my life, my late husbands life and the lives of all of our Fuller Family. In the 45 years I have known her she mentored me in ways I will eternally be grateful for.
I ask God to comfort Nick, Anne, David and all of this precious family now and in all the days ahead .
As I know so well-“When we lose someone we love , there is a hurt in our hearts no one can heal but we also have beautiful memories that no one can steal”
From my heart- I love you all.
Wendy D. Fuller wife if the late Bill Fuller
