I am a housekeeper at universal healthcare and your mother was always happy. And we would sing hymns together when she was in the singing mood she would say we sound good together😌. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord until we meet again rest in peace.

  9. Nancy Matthews Davis and Family

To Joye and Raye, You were Blessed with a Wonderful Kind and Loving Mother.
To My Lovely Aunt Ezraleen, Death ends a Life, not a Relationship. I will forever remember you as a little girl watching you shine with your loving disposition and your soft blonde curles. Daddy call you his Baby Sister when he spoke of you or to you, I remember that as being such a loving gesture of endearment! He loved you so much and he welcomed Uncle Marshall as a 2nd Brother, you both were so loving to me growing up around you. I feel so blessed that my Daughter Dayna and Son Kenneth got to know you and Love you as I do. God Bless You and Welcome You into his Loving Arms. I know you are rejoicing with all your love ones that went before you, love them all for us, especially My Daddy Preston. We Love you. Nancy Matthews Davis, Kenneth and Dayna

  12. Cindy Smith Allen

Joye, I feel I was so blessed to reconnect to her back when she was in Senter’s and my father-in-law was there too. I knew when she said her name there wasn’t anyone else with that name. As you know people with Alzheimer’s have better long term memory than short term memory. I was pleased she did remember my mom (Mildred and her 2 girls). She was a joy to talk to. I wish I could have gotten to see her when she moved to Universal but just never made it down to Fuquay to visit. I’m like most in that I have good intentions. You take care of yourself and I know you will miss her greatly. I pray for comfort for you in the days to come.
