I’m so thankful to have a loving family. As a kid I have fond memories of all my Aunts, Uncles and cousins. That being said I did stay with Aunt Frances and Aunt Ezraleen most of the time and my memories are wonderful! I’m thankful for all my family and during this difficult time pray all stay safe and well.

I am a housekeeper at universal healthcare and your mother was always happy. And we would sing hymns together when she was in the singing mood she would say we sound good together😌. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord until we meet again rest in peace.

  9. Beverly Coats

May God bless and comfort you Joye during this times. Your mother was a wonderful person and I know you have great memories to always remember. I have great memories I’ll always cherish of my mother.

  10. Cindy Smith Allen

Joye, I feel I was so blessed to reconnect to her back when she was in Senter’s and my father-in-law was there too. I knew when she said her name there wasn’t anyone else with that name. As you know people with Alzheimer’s have better long term memory than short term memory. I was pleased she did remember my mom (Mildred and her 2 girls). She was a joy to talk to. I wish I could have gotten to see her when she moved to Universal but just never made it down to Fuquay to visit. I’m like most in that I have good intentions. You take care of yourself and I know you will miss her greatly. I pray for comfort for you in the days to come.
