Guestbook

  1. Gloria Sherman

My heart is about to bust knowing my best friend is not going to be with me anymore. I cannot stick my head out the front door and holler ” hey mama you ready to go to Walmart With a big smile let me get Beth’s coat. Harold will miss her chicken dressing casserole, he called it corn pudding so no body else would eat any. We lived next door to each other
for 47 years she was more of a mother to me than mine could ever have been. Please angels watch over her.
I love you and God knows how much I miss you already.

Back in 1993/94, Doris volunteered at Street Fellowship, a church service and hot meal for the homeless and under-housed in Raleigh. We met at Emmanuel P.H. Church every Sunday. I had not seen her in years, but I remember her. Sweet lady. I am so very sorry for you all to have to say goodbye to her for now. I know she will be missed.
