  1. Jack& Jonnie Sue Hollowell

We are so sorry. Richard and Birdie were friend and neighbors for years. We are praying for all the family.

  2. Mike Carroll

First met Richard in August 1981. He and his wife Miss Birdie fast became good friends of ours. We’ve been lucky enough to get to visit them both in Mississippi and North Carolina and always enjoyed the time we had together! Truly lost a great friend.

  3. Nivea Ross McGowan

I only just connected with my great uncle Richard a little over a year ago. I was very excited. He was able to tell me more about the Ross side of my family and send me pictures of my grandfather that I didn’t have. I wish I could have had more time. I know he is no longer in any pain and we will all meet again. My love, prayers, and thoughts are with everyone.

  4. Lewis and Karen Clanin

We met Richard and Birdie while in Germany and I even taught LeeAnn and Tillman in school at Eifel Christian Academy. A wonderful family and we enjoyed all of the time that we shared with them. It is a great loss for all, but we are so thankful that we know we will meet again. Our prayers go out to the family during this time of loss, sending much love!

  5. Delia Murray Davis

I am sorry about your loss. Richard & I graduated from Woodland High School in 1961.
