LILLINGTON– Carlton Amos Sauls, 62, passed away Thursday. A native of Henderson county, he was the son of the late Jerry Lewis and Donna Tillotson Sauls.

He is survived by his sister, Brenda Young and husband Terry of Angier; half-sisters, Angela Ruiz, Spring Sauls, Summer Sauls, Tammy Rockwell and husband Chuck; nieces, Amanda Pegram and husband Michael, Eva Denny; nephew, Dwight McClure; and stepmother, Brenda Sauls.

A memorial service will be held Monday, January 4th at 3:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Angier.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Sauls.

    Amos was my dear friend. My heart is with you, his family and friends, and I offer my prayers as one who knew him in his later years. He was one of the kinder people I have known, and sweet,funny and a joy to be around.
