It was a pleasure working with you on your tours with the NC Selective Service System. God bless your family!

  2. Pat Brandt

Brock, you will be so missed by everyone who knew you. You were such a warm, kind, intelligent and loving man. You were a devoted husband to my cousin,Janet, and a great step father to her son, Mark. Your smile and laugh is how I will remember you. I am so glad that Tom and I got to meet you . You were so interesting and knowledgeable about history and so many other topics, but equally interested in what others had to say. You will never be forgotten.
    Love,
    Cousin, Pat

Brodie and I crossed paths twice: first as members of the marching band at Chester High School and as members of a swing band we called “The Misfits” ( imagine playing big-band swing during the emergence of Rock and Roll) and, secondly as members of the Davidson College class of 1962. Like so many, we lost contact but I enjoyed knowing him and I know he will be missed.
