Alan Bruce Clark

March 7, 1957 ~ November 8, 2019

Garner – Alan B. Clark, age 62, passed away at his home on Friday November 8, 2019. He was born
March 7, 1957 in Wilmington, North Carolina, to parents Mack and Mildred (Coe) Clark. He
graduated from Garner Senior High School in 1975, where he enjoyed taking drafting classes.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mac, and is survived by his mother, Mildred, his wife,
Teresa Clark, his two daughters, Lauren and Shannon, his siblings, Johnny (Julia) Clark and Karen
(Jeff) Cantrell, his step-children Ashley Nowell and Ethan Henry, and his grandchildren Calaeb, Gunner, and Dominic.

Alan was an avid shooter, winning tournaments throughout the region, and in his later years
converted part of his garage into a woodworking shop, where he enjoyed building toys for his
grandchildren. In his younger years, Alan was a member of the four-wheel drive club and rode
horses, a passion he helped pass along to his children. All who knew him can attest that Alan
was very committed to his community, he was someone you could always call on when in need.
He had a big personality that he brought into all of his endeavors, whether participating in
activities at the church or sharing a meal with friends. Above all, Alan valued his time spent with
his family.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. Family and friends are
invited to a graveside service, which will be held Tuesday at 2pm at Montlawn Cemetery, Raleigh,
followed by a celebration of life at Capital Church, Garner, North Carolina.
