Agnes Wall Smith, 96, passed away Wednesday. A native of WakeCounty, she was one of ten children of the late Henry and Jane Wilder Wall. Mrs. Smith operated Smith’s Nursery for 30 years in Garner. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow in BethlehemBaptistChurchCemetery. Survivors include her son, , Albert C. Smith, Jr. of Pleasant Garden, NC; daughters, Judy S. Cox, Gail S. Mills, both of Garner and Nancy S. Kunkel of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Tony and Kenny Mills, Albert C. Smith III, Ryan Smith, Whitney C. Sims, Joanna C. Lewis, Leslie K. Henderson and Lauren K. Huy and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Colonel Smith, Sr. and infant daughter, Hilda Rae Smith. The family will receive friends from 2:00- 3:00 pm Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.

    Albert Judy Gail and Nancy: What a wonderful lady your Mother was! We will always remember her for the loving care she gave to all her babies. We were blessed to be part of her life. Our love and sympathy to all of you in the loss of your dear Mother. Thoughts and prayers are with you. We regret we can’t be with you on Sunday.
