Agnes Feeney Brady

09/23/1930 ~ 01/05/2019

After a prolonged battle with Alzheimers disease, Agnes Brady passed away on January 5, 2019 in Raleigh, NC. Agnes was born in Lisnaskea, County Fermanagh in the North of Ireland on September 23, 1930 and was the third of seven children born to Con and Ann Feeney. She traveled to London to find work at the age of 18 and eventually, in 1955 she traveled to Manhattan, where she met and married the love of her life, Edward Brady from the Bronx. Ed preceded her in death in 2015. Agnes dedicated herself to her family and to her faith. She loved life and was rarely seen without a smile. She will be missed by many.

She leaves behind her son, Eamonn and daughter in law Krista; daughter, Aggie and son in law Colm; grandchildren, Ciara, Molly, Aidan and Conor; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Kinsley and Bennett.

A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in the St. Mary of the Angels Chapel of Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh, NC 27613.

We want to thank the amazing people at Transitions Lifecare for the great services and for taking such good care of Agnes and Ed. You have been such a blessing. We also have to thank the staff at The Oaks at Mayview Memory Service Unit, who so lovingly cared for her for almost 2 years. You all have become a second family.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider making a donation to Transitions LifeCare @ 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh.NC 27607.

Eammon and Aggie, I was thinking about your Mom on the day of her transition. Interesting I almost wrote a note to you Aggie asking about Agnes. People here think I know everything about everyone.

I am happy that she is with the Love of Her Life, Ed. They were both precious to me.
