  1. Vickie Boykin

We are so very sorry to hear about your loss. You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.

  2. Jane Goodwin

Kathy was one of the “good guys”. I knew her from our days at the Dept. of Community Colleges. We shared a lot of laughs and and she was one person that was always upbeat and happy. She will be missed by all that knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family now.

  3. Roxanne W Davenport

Kathy was one of my co-workers for many years. She was a hard worker and took great pride in cataloging materials for the many libraries of the community college system. Tracie, she was so proud of you! I know she leaves a big void in the lives of you and your family, but I trust in the Lord that she is enjoying a new Easter with Charles, Don Ray and her parents. My sincere condolences to you, and I will continue to keep you lifted up in prayer.

  4. College Turnage

I worked with Kathy at the system office. She and her husband came to my rescue during that crazy winter storm in 2004-2005. I was new to the job and knew no one in Raleigh. I rode the bus to and from work, and found myself stranded downtown. Kathy and her husband came out in that crazy weather, and gave me a ride home. I will never forget her kindness. I didn’t know Kathy long, but I know she loved and adored her family. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

  5. Irene Laube

Kathy was Durham Tech’s cataloger for many years. She was always kind, gracious, and pleasant. My condolences to her family. I know that she was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
