James David Robbins, Jr.

January 9, 1946 ~ June 28, 2020

James (Jim) David Robbins Jr. left his earthly home & entered his heavenly home on June 28, 2020. He was born on January 9, 1946, in Little Washington, North Carolina, to Doris and James Robbins. Jim was preceded in death by his father, James David Robbins.

Jim was a hard worker and extraordinary man; he worked hard throughout his life to give to those he loved. He met his wife, Brenda, during his time at Enloe High School, and they began their life together shortly after. Jim began working at Rich Products and became extremely successful in his time with the company and was able to travel around the world alongside his wife. He retired after a 34-year career from Rich Products being recognized as the most highly awarded member of the organization. Through his time at Rich’s, Jim was able to make friends and memories throughout the years that will live on forever. Jim had a love and passion for anything sports; he could be found any given Monday, Wednesday, Friday at the RGA golf course. He would never miss an NC State or Redskins game and was a loyal fan of both teams. Most importantly, Jim loved to spend time with his family and always looked forward to the opportunities where his family could all be together in times of celebration.

To carry on his legacy of love, he leaves his precious mother, Doris Robbins. His high school sweetheart, love of his life and best friend, his wife, Brenda Robbins. His adored sons and daughters-in-law, Jay Robbins (Clara) and Randy Robbins (Tammy). The joys of his life, his five grandchildren, Camille, Jake, Cameron, Emmy, and Carson. His brothers and sisters-in-law, Dan (Pam), Mike (Judy), and Jack. His nephews and their wives, Michael (Christina), Joshua (Kaitlyn), and Ethan.

He was an extraordinary man, loving and loyal with a heart of gold.

“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and forever dear.”

An outdoor memorial service will be held at Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church in Cary, NC, on Thursday, July 2, at 9:30 am. respecting the COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.
