| ANGIER- Mary Meddie Gardner Wegner, 80, of 49 C Mango Lane, passed away Thursday. A native of Harnett County she was the daughter of the late Glenn Everett and Lola Chelton Denning Gardner.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington.
Surviving are her daughters, Marisue Belle Wegner of Columbia, SC; Kim Price Pearce and husband, Michael of Angier; sons, Jeffrey Chris Wegner and Rodney Dee Wegner both of Angier; daughter-in-law, Wanda Wegner of Angier, eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sister, Alice Gardner Stephenson of Columbia, SC.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Dee Wegner, son Stephen Bret Wegner, grandson, Nathan Bret Wegner and granddaughter, Meddie Melinda Marshall.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00, one hour prior to the service at the church, and at other times at the home of Kim and Michael Pearce, 702 Kirk Adams Road, Angier.
