Coy Thomas Bowling

ANGIER Coy Thomas Bowling, 84, passed away on Saturday. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was the son of the late Roy and Bessie Vaughn Bowling. He was the former owner and operator of Bowling’s 66 Service Station in Angier. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Angier Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Surviving: daughters, Carolyn Byrd and her husband, Wayne of Raleigh, Martha Wood and her husband, Frank of Angier and Diane Church of Spring Lake; son, Tim Bowling of Angier; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM today at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
