| GARNER—Marion Wilbert Boyette, 81, a service manager with Sir Walter Chevrolet for 47 years, passed away Thursday at his home. A native of Sampson County, he was the son of the late Marion Edmond Boyette and Mattie Alderman Boyette. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday at New Bethel Baptist Church, Garner. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Clayton.
Mr. Boyette is survived by his wife of 55 years, Selma Boyette; daughter, Lisa Ann Sago and husband, David of Garner; son, John Boyette and wife, Volinda, also of Garner; sister, Christine Royal of Lumberton; grandchildren, Keith and Kevin Boyette and Lauren and Anna Sago.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Sandlin.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
