| GARNER - Edith Ellington Ayscue, 78, passed away Tuesday at home. She was a native of Franklin County, born to the late Nathaniel Allen Ellington and Minda Lester Ellington.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Dye and husband, Barney of Kings Mt. and Pamela Brewer and husband, George of Garner; son, Phillip Ayscue and wife, Ann of Garner; twelve grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bruce Ayscue; daughters, Miriam Rose Ayscue and Karen Marie Dean; sons, Robert Allen Ayscue and grandson, Bruce Ayscue.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
