| GARNER – Roger Lee Williams, 63, of 909 Forest Drive, died Thursday at Wake Medical Center. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Silas Lee Williams and Edna Earle Davis Williams. Mr. Williams retired from SunTrust Bank.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will be 3:00 PM at Onslow Memorial Park, Jacksonville, NC.
Surviving are his brothers, Ronnie Williams and wife, Betsy of Garner, Gary Williams and wife, Jewel and John Williams and wife, Taryn, all of Raleigh; nephews, Stephen Williams and wife, Amy and Scott Williams; special great niece, Kaylee Williams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Spain Williams of Jacksonville, NC.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM prior to the service and at other times at the home of Ronnie and Betsy Williams, 1306 Buckingham Rd., Garner.
