| DECEMBER 8, 1931 – FEBRUARY 13, 2010
GARNER – Jack M. Cotten 78, passed away Saturday at his home. He was born in Wake County to the late James D. and Ada L.Cotten. Jack attended school in Raleigh and served with the US Army from 1953 to 1955. Most of his life he worked as a truck mechanic and after retiring in 1994 he enjoyed working around the home and yard. Jack had a love of motorcycles and owned one most of his adult life.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy Craft Cotten, a daughter Lisa Cotten, and a son Randy Cotten both of Garner, Granddaughter Ashley Cotten, grandson Jack Tyler Cotten, great granddaughter Brook Hines of Raleigh, several nieces, nephews and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother Richard, in 1946.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Historic Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, February 15, 2010 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
