| GARNER – James Henry “Jimmy” Bryan, 78, of 1832 New Bethel Baptist Church Road, died Tuesday. A native of Wake Co., he was the son of the late Paul Lee Bryan, Sr. and Bettie Buffaloe Bryan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at New Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.
Surviving wife of 52 years, Doan Starnes Bryan; daughter, Lisa Bryan Corbett and her husband, Bill of Merry Hill, NC; sons, Randy Bryan and his wife, Cindy of Garner and Jeffrey Bryan of Raleigh; sisters, Anne Bryan and Betty Jean Bryan both of Garner; grandchildren, Hallie Corbett, Wyatt Corbett, Lane Corbett, Kelsey Bryan, Seth Bryan and Maggie Bryan.
He was predeceased by sisters, Catherine Bryan, Lottie Bryan, Mary Elizabeth Bryan and Millie Bagwell and brothers, P. L. Bryan, Wade Bryan and Bob Bryan.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner.
