| ANGIER – Ricky Ray “Little Rick” Winders, 23, died suddenly Sunday in an auto accident. A 2005 graduate of Harnett Central High School, he was employed with Raleigh Glass Company as a shop technician for more than five years.
He was an active outdoorsman and a beloved member of Angier Fellowship Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Angier Fellowship Church with Rev. Chris Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington.
Ricky is survived by his mother, Shelia Hughes Jones and her husband, Dave of Knightdale; father, Richard Allen Winders and his wife, Deidra of Angier; sister, Crystal Strickland and husband, Johnathan, Sr., nephews, Johnathan, Jr., Bradley and Kevin, all of Dunn; step-sister, Ashton Jones of Knightdale; grandparents, Willie Ray and Nancy Hughes of Coats; Harry and Frances Winders of Angier; LeAnne Pittman of Clayton; great-grandmother, Mavis Hughes of Angier; special aunts and uncles, Jerry and Myra Winders of Lillington; Jimmy and Martha Winders of Durham; Nancy and Eddie Mitchell, and Joey Hughes, all of Coats; and Christopher Pittman of NC.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier and at other times at the residence of Harry and Frances Winders.
